I believe that artmaking is a sacred act – a spiritual practice that allows us to bypass the noise of the everyday and tap into the quiet wisdom of the inner self. The Approach:
Mirroring the Inner World
My practice is grounded in the belief that the creative process mirrors our internal landscapes. We don’t aim for ‘perfect’ art; we use the tactile nature of various materials to support and externalise the inner work you are doing.
Through the flow of colour and the physical act of creation, we give form to feelings that words cannot always reach. This approach is open to everyone – no prior experience with art or psychotherapy is required. You simply need a willingness to show up as you are.

Sacred Studios is an intimate, home-based Living Studio-Gallery and expressive arts sanctuary founded by Else Roos. Nestled beside a quiet forest canopy and bordered by wild Sugarbush walking paths, it functions as an organic ecosystem where active artmaking and receptive art observation merge seamlessly into a single holding environment.
Moving away from the sterile boundaries of traditional clinical practices and the intimidating perfectionism of conventional art galleries, Sacred Studios offers a gentle, non-judgmental container where the "perfectly imperfect" layers of the human experience are celebrated.
